It helps to create all types of indexes in our head when studying for any particular matter. This is why songs can be easy to memorize. Likewise, printed materials are often times easier to learn than electronic ones.
I searched for a poster of the PMP knowledge areas and process groups. In particular, I wanted all of the processes listed with their respective inputs, outputs, tools and techniques. I did find what others put out but still felt that I wanted something more tabular.
I resorted to creating one myself and I share it with you here. It is meant to be printed as a poster – otherwise the text size may be too small to read. For the tabular style that I wanted, I could not get it all in one poster, so there are 3 pages (3 posters). Even if you choose not to print it, it still may be a good reference for you on a high resolution device such as an iPad. I use it in that format as well.
Use mine, or create your own. The exercise itself, of creating your own, can also help you. For me, it helped me to visualize the sequence of the processes. Going through the exercise of making my own also helped me to recognize when inputs, outputs, and tools and techniques were repeated.
